Local Author Signs and Discusses Her Debut Book at B&N's YA Book Club

DALLAS, TX — American Muslim Author Hafsah Faizal met her fan-girls at Barnes & Noble bookstore at Stonebriar Mall on July 11th, 2019 as part of her book tour around the world for her debut fantasy book titled We Hunt the Flame.
After warm introductions from the author and the participants, Faizal answered questions about her acclaimed book. The participants got to know that her debut book is actually her fifth book penned but the one which actually made it to publishing and NYT bestseller rank.
Faizal also shared with the audience that the idea for the book came to her one day when she watched Lord of the Rings and Hunger Games back to back with her sister(s). Two of her sisters' names made it to the book, and we weren't nosy enough to ask which ones since we read the book *laughs.* All is not lost, we hope that the author will grace us with her presence here at Fofky's and tell us more insha'Allah.
After a much lively and animated discussion, the author signed our copies and gave out limited goodies she had promised her audience that would attend her event. Fofky's was in attendance and grateful for the opportunity. Check it out!
